Wedding speeches always make you nervous, even if you read many reference books beforehand. Maha Harada's Honjitsu wa Ohigaramoyoku [Good afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen] isn't a how-to book but a bestselling collection of short stories in 2010, which shows you how drastically the characters' ---and your--- speeches can change by reading her skillful narratives. I found it useful just after doing a wedding speech last weekend, but it might be said that my experience doubled the value of these experimental and sentimental stories!
