Hi there. My new book, Everything You Always Wanted to Know about Novelization, has just come out. For over a hundred years, the genre called novelization has developed along with the history of film. Especially in the 1970s, it experienced its biggest boom in the USA. The market was excited by its bestsellers of now-famous novelizations such as Star Wars, Omen, and Jaws 2 back then. Starting with surveying what happened in those days, my research goes through the history of novelization which nobody has ever written about systematically. Of course, my book also includes non-Hollywood novelizations such as one of Kadokawa's films or Japanimation. If you have any interest in the relationship between films and books, why don't you check it out?
